  • Cumbarjua Canal- Most of the tourists who go to Goa are unaware of the existence of this place. It is a quite narrow stretch of water that is around 15 km in length. The two rivers Mandovi and Zuari are connected here. You can watch crocodiles here. Going back to a little history, this place earlier used to be a no man’s land due to the territories of Bijapur and Portuguese. But after 100 of years crocodiles were brought here so that the invaders cannot come.
  • Bhagwan Mahavir Wildlife Sanctuary- The area is spread over 240 sq. Km, this is the largest wildlife reserve in Goa state. This is a must-visit place for the people who love hiking and have an uncanny love for nature. The wildlife sanctuary is full of tropical evergreen forests and vegetation. When you will visit this place, you will come to know that there are herbivores animals, more than 120 species of birds including the Ruby-throated yellow Bulbul, which by the way is also Goa’s state bird. Dudhsagar, Tambi falls, Waterfalls, Devil’s Canyon and others can also be spotted here.
  • Bubbling lake- Netravali : You can leave to watch this lake right in the morning from one of the hotels in Calangute beach Goa that you are staying in, as it will be quite peaceful without any humdrum. The time you visit the lake you yourself will come to know what a true delight it is to watch the lake. The interesting part about this is that the lake rises bubbles and increases the speed of the same when claps are or certain sounds are created.
